Do I need to make an appointment?
No appointment is necessary. Ferndale Urgent Care welcomes walk-in patients every day, allowing you to receive prompt medical care at your convenience. Whether you have a minor illness, injury, or need immediate medical attention, our experienced healthcare team is here to provide fast, compassionate care without the need for an appointment.
Do you accept my insurance?
Yes. Ferndale Urgent Care is an in-network provider with many major insurance plans, including Medicare, Medicaid, Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS), Blue Care Network, Aetna, United Healthcare, HAP, Humana, Molina, Meridian, Priority Health, TriCare, and many others.
If your insurance plan is not listed or we do not participate directly with your provider, we can submit your claim to your U.S.-based insurance company on your behalf. If you have questions about your coverage or benefits, we recommend contacting our office before your visit. Our team will be happy to assist you.

What do I need to bring?
To help us provide you with the best possible care, please bring the following items to your visit:
- A valid photo ID or driver’s license
- Your current health insurance card (if applicable)
- A list of your current medications
- Information about any allergies or existing medical conditions
- Any relevant medical records, test results, or referral information (if available)

Do you provide X-ray services?
Yes. Ferndale Urgent Care offers on-site digital X-ray services to help diagnose fractures, sprains, chest conditions, and other medical concerns quickly. Having imaging available in our clinic allows for faster diagnosis and treatment without the need for multiple appointments.
Do you treat children?
Yes. We provide urgent medical care for children as well as adults. Our experienced medical team treats many common pediatric illnesses and minor injuries in a comfortable, family-friendly environment. Parents are encouraged to bring any medical records or immunization information if available.
What are the payment policies? What payment methods are accepted?
Co-payments are due before your visit. Ferndale Urgent Care will submit your claim directly to your insurance provider. If you have an unmet deductible, an estimated payment of $90 will be collected before you are seen, and any remaining balance will be billed after your insurance processes the claim. We accept cash, credit cards, debit cards, and most major insurance plans. If you have questions about your coverage or payment, please contact our office before your visit.
When is Ferndale Urgent Care not right for me?
Ferndale Urgent Care treats non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, such as chest pain, difficulty breathing, severe bleeding, or signs of a stroke, call 911 or visit the nearest emergency room immediately.
